According to the article - The Netherlands. Can't remember the exact place though. The guy had it constructed for a show room.
What I really love about this is that it is built in front of three huge windows and when the sun rises it shines in on the tank. According to what's written it's like nothing else - produces beautiful displays. I think this is very cool.
I've been thinking about setting up some type of hex-shaped tank in our front bay window that gets tons of direct sunlight and seeing if that'll work anything.
Oh Honey...can I have one of these?
What do you mean, "what about the kid's college education"?
Wouldn't it brighten up the basement rec room? 8)
The colour is amazing, alot of sps corals that I can see.
And yes it would take a big bit out of the childrens education.
Julie
Pretty sure if you have a tank like that, it can be the kid's education. I know I'd probably learn more from a tank that size then any of my classes.
I wonder if I can pass that line off to my wife.
I doubt it, I'm sure she's too smart for that. We're so misunderstood :-)
Like they say, there's a fine line between hobby and obsession.
Oh well, we could be doing worse things.
Julie
I prefer to call it a hobsession.

I think obsession is a guy I know of down in the states. He went dove right into the piranha hobby, started breeding red bellies, all kinds of stuff. He went from having zero fish to over 50 tanks in less than a year. Works on his tanks about 8 hours each day maintaining them. Has tens of thousands of dollars in livestock alone. It's rediculous... AND... This is
only piranhas as far as I know. Imagine if he got into other types of fish?

Haha! I love that Matt! I'm using it the next time someone calls me on my fish keeping, heh.
