I have about 9 demasoni fry in a 6g tank of various size from 1/4 inch to about 3/4 inch. My female lab is now holding and I'd like to move her to the fry tank and let her spit them out. My question is would she pose a threat to the demasoni fry. I was unaware the first time she held fry at what to do with her and lost all the fry she was holding but would like to see what she can produce.
Thanks
James
I would not do this. I would put the female lab in a separate tank
Could I put the Lab fry with the demasoni. I ask only because my fry tank is more stable and looks better.
If it helps , I don't know if you remmber, but I wanted to buy some fry from you. Are you still interested in selling some? Please let me know I really love thier colors and my single Demasoni is lonely!!! Thanks Lynn
I agree with art, do not put the female in with the fry, she will likely kill them. but putting the lab fry in with the demasoni fry would likely be more ok..3/4" might be a bit too big especially for new born lab fry..but 1/4" should be no problem
lcoates, yup I remember. Just waiting to move to Rockland and have the fry big enough to sell. They are kinda small now. Most of the demasoni fry I have now are 2 - 5 weeks old but the colours are nice. They should be ready to go in a month if you can hold on till then.
The female lab is still holding but has alot to spit from the look of it. The male looks sad without his mate by his side.
do you only have the 2 labs?
Yes 1m/1f labs with 2m/3f demasoni
I don't mind waiting in fact I'm in Orleans, so that would make you close.
Just to let you know I don't mind if they are small, I have a grow out tank, and have purchased them from Art and Drew, they seem to do very well, it's up to you. if your moving you may find it easier on you and them. Just let me know, Thanks Lynn
How many would you be looking for?
Another female is holding and I've put her in the fry tank. If this continues maybe I can quit my fulltime job.
I said the same thing 3 years ago and it hasn't happened yet.
It depends on how much you want, just pm me and we can make arrangements as to when I can pick them up. Thanks Lynn
