Title: Please move to the discussion forum... Rotala as foreground plant

When I came back after the trip I found that my rotala layed on the ground and became the "foreground plant". Did anybody saw this before?

Interestingly enough, I have over the years observed this with many different stem plants actually. I found, that after a time, the top end of the stem, and everwhere along the way, would start to send out tap roots. I always believed that this occurs in nature as a way to spread a little farther than would happen under normal circumstances, just my own observations though, coupled with reading through tonnes of tomes. Give it a bit of time and see how it goes.
