Does anywhere in Ottawa other than BA's sell eheim hoses?

I believe BA is the only authorized reseller in Ottawa.

Now, I know I have seen Eheim products at a pet store in Gatineau off Greber near La Gappe...

Really though, there is nothing special about the tubing. You could easily go to Home Depot etc... and get the appropriate tubing with the correct ID/OD

I'm not a tubing expert, but does that mean internal and outer diameter?

Yup... that's what Eheim puts on their hosing

12/16mm, for example, is the internal/external diameter of the tubing. Of course, the hardware stores will have tubing in fractions of inches, so you'll need to convert from millimeters.
