I am looking forward to this CAOAC weekend. I have not been for a few years, last year it was in Edmonton, and the year before it was in Winnipeg, now that it is back in Ontario, it is easier for me to attend ;)
Anyone from Ottawa attending this year ?

Just received this from Barry for CAOAC convention.
Attached is information regarding the 2014 CAOAC Convention. For those planning to attend we need your registration by May 9, 2014 in order to let Humber College know the meal counts and if you are going to book a room that should also be done by May 9, 2014 to ensure you get a room in the convention block of rooms (Humber needs to know for staffing on the long weekend).
Full information for Convention registration and room registration is on the DRAS Website www.dras.ca
If you wish to register by mail and pay by cheque please send the following information:
Full Registration................$79.00 Speakers, Banquet, Saturday Hot Breakfast, Sunday Continental Breakfast Speakers only................... $39.00 Banquet only.................... $39.00 Full Meal Plan................... $55.00 (Banquet plus 2 Breakfasts)
The number and choice from the above list and prices plus a cheque for the total amount payable to the "Durham Region Aquarium Society".
Include the names of all registrants.

Hey everyone. We are now here at the CAOAC conference. Just arrived. We spent the afternoon at Finatics spending money. Headed back out to other fish shops until the talks at 8PM.

Some great presentations today. Really enjoyed the one on New Guinea on Rainbow fish. Had time to hit a few stores today. Picked up some fish and plants for other members. I hear there are about 700-800 items for the auction and swap tables to begin with.

Guest what Peter and I just bought. Guppies I got some 1/2 back blue guppies and Peter got Blue/green Moscow guppies Something different. These are show quality from one of the breeders that win awards all over states side for these. I wanted the black ones with the yellow tail but she didn't have the females here. They where $50.00 pair. Later since she lives in London Ont.

Shawn, I will ask her but don't recall her mention that type. She also have all different types of cories. R2O had some different cories but didn't see anything I wanted that I didn't have already. Big auction today ........................
