Title: Fluval Spec V stock questions
Post by: Brine on April 29, 2015, 09:39:27 PM
So I finally broke down and got a tank. I picked up a new Fluval Spec V, which is 5G. I want to do something like a sand bottom, small amount of rocks and MAYBE one plant. Something like the picture.
What I would like is to stock it with something small like CPD's or Chili Rasbora but I don't think either species will do to well with no plants (or minimal plants).
Does anyone have any ideas of other stock that might prefer the set up? If the tank was much bigger it would be a good set up for Africans but at 5G it is too small for them.
Suggestions?

Hey Brine, looking good.
How about some ember tetras?

I looked at the Embers but I like the way the Rasbora school and if I start another tank my relationship might be in jeopardy.  ;D
I started a second tank already and there is a third in storage. I went from 0 to 2 in about a week.
