Title: Keeping Bubbler Buried
Post by: 101DalmatianMollies on July 04, 2015, 09:15:45 AM
Hi Folks,

I have a bubbler in my 33 gal tank - I like watching the bubbles. However I can't keep the stone buried. I have at least a good 3-4" of small stone substrate that I bury it in. It stays buried for about 3-4 days after I sink it in, however it eventually works it's way up through the substrate and on the surface.

I was contemplating getting a bubble wall wand, which I can hide along the back of the tank. This stone generates a lot of bubbles so when it comes up from underneath the substrate it's a lot of bubbles.

Any ideas on how to keep it buried? Thanks!

Maybe attach the air line, just before your stone, to one of these airline suction cups.  Stick the suction cup to the bottom glass and then bury it.
