Title: Can aquarium plant lights be used for garden plants?
Post by: George2 on March 08, 2016, 12:27:32 AM
Hi,

Does anyone know if LED aquarium lights suitable for aquatic plants can be used to grow garden plants indoors?

I have a Chihiros Aquatic Studio 45cm LED light (it's an ADA Aquasky LED knock-off brand) and am wondering if I can use it to get a head start on my pepper plants.  :)

Thanks!
George

I sold LED lights to people that used it to grow plant's. They say it works.  Also
depends on the temp and what's in your soil. Just light aquarium plants.

Thanks! I figure that since I have a light I am no longer using, I might as well put it to good use.  :)
