Title: AMMANNIA PEDICELLATA
Post by: Biulu on May 15, 2016, 11:17:52 AM
One of our local stores is offering this plant right now and I thought it would make a great addition for my new 79 gallon tank. However, until now I have not had much success with ammannia plants.

Do you think it would thrive under the following conditions:
Fluorite substrate + EI dosing in the water column
4 T5 HO lights
30% weekly water changes
NO CO2

Thanks!

Although i have not grown it without CO2, it  reportedly does well without CO 2, of course tank environment will play a part.
When i grew it , it was almost similar set up as yours, but the tank was heavily supplemented with nutrients & CO2 which induced fast growth & good colour.
