Title: Where is the best place in Ottawa to buy a turtle?

Hi, I'm currently looking for a pet turtle for a new tank and was wondering what is available in Ottawa. I would like to buy a southern painted turtle, but I'm not sure if they are locally available/legal. I will go with a red ear slider if that is all that is available, but ideally I'd like something smaller so I can get more than one in my 90 gallon.

I think that person meant is that they produce a lot of waste and odor. They also live for about a 100 years. But if your co pletely in love with turtles and you really want one, you shouldn't care what anyone says. Theres a mississippi map turtle you could find locally. Ive also seen yellow eard turtles on Kijiji too.
