Title: Will aquatic plants grow in a bowl with no flow, heater and next to sun?
Post by: sippingtowel on June 11, 2017, 03:31:20 PM
Hi everyone, as you may know from my previous thread I got some riccia which unfortunately broke and spread to a million pieces. Now I'm wondering... Will aquatic plants grow in a bowl with no flow, heater and next to sun? main motivation of this is to grow plants much like riccia/moss until they are a big enough batch to fit for my needs. Such as a big clumpy floater/mat that won't break apart.

*Oh and also with a root tab/some soil at the bottom of said bowl.

You need to replenish the oxygen or it'll go anoxic. An air stone would do.
