Title: Albino bushynose babies
Post by: soleil1980 on July 15, 2017, 11:56:30 AM
Hi!

I have been breeding bushynose dor a while now but just recently got an albino couple.  They had babies!  Most of them are white of course but I have 2 that are brown... How is that possible???  I thought the albino gene was recessive...

Hi!

That sounds pretty cool! I have one albino female that has has a dark spot on her, but out of all the "litters" (spawns? Pods?) of pleco's I've had I've never seen that before.

I hope others will weigh in!

I've wanted to breed a brown with an albino and see what happens, but I have too many albinos right now to do that.
