My Eheim 2213 just stop cycling the water for no reason? I could hear noise from the impeller. So last night I tried to clean up the filter/hose because I suspected it was blocked, I checked/tested the impeller, nothing is broken, but when I plugged it in, the noise is still there, and the water was still not cycling at all? Anybody encounter this before? Thanks
Check the magnetic part around the ceramic shaft. It might crack. Good luck! :(
Not quite clear how you tested. Did completely remove the impeller and clean the inside of that chamber. The passageway from that chamber to the exit hose might be blocked as well. See if water runs down the hose and into that chamber if all is well assemble impeller into housing then plug in to confirm it spinning. Also check the impeller is still attached to the magnet. It will spin a bit on magnet and then stop. If it spins freely the impeller needs replacement.
