Yes!
If you see one, you will get more.
Shrimps may hunt on them (I saw once), but in overall they will happily breed in your tank.

Thanks, I was wondering what it was, it almost looks like a snail with a half shell.  Yes I do see them in action quite a bit.

I have Turbo snails, they haven't knocked anything over yet.
When I went away on vacation for a week, I could see their trails all over the front of the glass.  My blue leg hitchhiker crab killed all my nass snails for their shells and he never even used them.  I ended buying some from Ivan because the dollarstore was always out of stock (alot of hungry crabs out there)
I like the red leg crab.
