I haven't been buying fish tanks for a while now and haven't been working in a pet store for a few months. So I'm kind of at a loss on what to price the tank I'm trying to sell at.

The tank is 55 gallons. It has two separate smaller strip lights. (Ones that hold the 15w bulbs.) It's originally from Petsmart, I believe, so whatever brand they sell there. It has the light oak trim finish to it. And I am including gravel and the plastic background but nothing else. (No heater, no filter, no stand, etc.)

How much should I be asking for this?

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers.

They seem to be offered at a dollar a gallon online and at auction - but I guess it depends on the condition it's in, plus a few dollars for your extras.
Good luck.

The tank brand is Topfin.  It sells for $160 brand new with the lights included and comes in black or woodgrain (brownish) trim.

by the sound of it....
it must be a 55g long.......48x18x12 with middle bracket
larger tanks have some exception on the dollar a gallon
rule.....no way one could get a 120g for $120.oo if you know what I mean.
therefore a good suggestion could be an starting price
which you think will apply to condition of tank.....work your way down
ex: 55g for $ 130.oo and so on.(example only)
best regards with sale!!!
