Christmas Moss

I read the name in a thread in freshwater, and googled it because I had never heard of it before.  Does anyone have any experience with it?  Is it as easy as Java Moss?  It looks really cool!

Jetstream is the Moss man  , i think he had good success with it along with a few others.

I have had Christmas moss and willow moss, and in my experience, they are as easy as java moss, but they don't grow as quickly, and of course, are much harder to find.  If you're patient, they are well worth getting hold of, as the Christmas moss has a lovely shape, and the willow moss is a much more controlled, tidy moss, good for small spaces.  Moss purists will tell you not to mix them in the same tank, so that you can keep your mosses from growing into one another.  Christmas moss would make a lovely moss wall as well.

Great site on mosses had no idea there were that many aquaic mosses?

I think I read an article that this is not a true aquatic moss. That it does not live for long submerged. Have I confused this with another species of moss?

Try jds on this site. He told me that he gots lots of different ones. He lives in Hamilton. If you make the arrangement, I can go pick it up when I am in Toronto. Jetstream also has some Xmas moss. I have some, but still too little to share for now.
