Good for you, and don't hesitate to feed them, they appreciate that you could say.

What were the history and colouring of the parents, and were you able to snap any shots of the bubblenest and whatnot?

bettabreeder

yes, I was able to get a lot of photos from the spawning because it happened right after I got home from school. I have been feeding them on bbs so far..

Good for you 1 How about showing us the parents.

I have been trying to upload the pics of the parents but it says that the file is too big

Not much is involved but time and patience. Also steady water temp. and little to none filtration.

Thanks for circling the fry, I don't know if I would have spotted them otherwise - so tiny!
I heard from a friend (also a Betta breeder) that if you leave the male in with the eggs, he'll take care of them and raise the fry (only eating a few), that they have a lot higher survival rate this way.  Is this your method, or do you have experience otherwise?

I'm actually using both methods right now. In my 10g I dtook the male out after 3 days and in my 18g I have the male in right now and the fry are almost a week old and none have died.
