I just wanted to suggest making a new discussion category: FW Invertebrates.  So many people discuss their shrimp, snails, crayfish/lobsters, etc I thought it might make sense to give it it's own section.

i second that motion! lol ;D

Good idea inverts are really taking off locally now.

I will leave that up to the new webmaster to implement :)

personally, i feel the less forums the better.

I personally would prefer the hobby related ones we have being merged back as much as possible into the original 2 - FW, SW - since many topics could be relevent in multiple forums in the way they are currently set up.

just my own 2 shillings
1 210g Asian Community planted fast water tank: balas, tiger & black ruby barbs, red-tail black shark, rainbows, loaches, SAEs, gold CAEs, 1500GPH river flow, plus 1500gph filtration.
1 75g African planted tank: 3 synos (had them since the 90s), yellow labs, kribensis.
1 40g breeder, silicone-divided into two - quarantine and nursery.

I agree with dpatte.  I read more topics when they were all clumped together under FW or SW.

If we make a forum for FW invertebrates, then we should make one for FW fish.  We could subdivide every topic up so much that there would be 50 forums to wade through.  2 was plenty, now it's more difficult to navigate and find what I'm really looking for.  I also found I read topics that I normally wouldn't because it was in the forum I was looking through.

Sorry for sidetracking your thread....  I admit I'm kind of glad that african cichlids have their own forum : ) Reading posts about their aggression issues was quite depressing.  I can avoid these posts entirely now.

The show unread option under the hello box lists all new posts/replies.  This I guess is a workaround for people who like seeing all the posts in one place.
