DWARF HAIRGRASS vs. JAVA MOSS ?

I was told that my Auratus Cichlids would eat them up in no time but I would prefer to have Dwarf Hairgrass (Eleocharis Parvula) than Java Moss. Any opinions on this and do you have African Cichlids?

This guy has this in his tank:

"Anubias (not sure what variety it is)
cryptocoryne wendtii (tropica)
Eleocharis parvula (hairgrass)
java fern"

On fishforums.net, I happened across this :

nope! he's very good, just digs a little sometimes, but not that much.

Not really telling me too much about Auratus though but it looks promising.
