Crazy night sounds

So an Eastern screech owl has been waking me up the last few mornings at 3:30am.
We have a huge tree outside our bedroom window and I'm sure that's where
he's calling from. He's doing the whinny call.

When I first heard him I thought the horses had gotten out.
Pretty eerie sounds when you don't know what it is and your half asleep.

We also have barred owls at the cottage calling all the time.

Nice to hear all these guys they are so secretive during the day but
they sure make themselves heard at night.

Yikes! If that was coming from outside my bedroom window at 3:30 am I'd freak out.  and me being as brave as I am, wifey would be pretty annoyed when I send her out to investigate!

Very neat, some of them sound nothing like owls, I would've guessed it's a horse or insects.
