Welcome input on my 120 planted

I've never done this nicely on purpose before.  Ive only just put things wherever and been done.  Ive hooked up co2, but am still struggling with algae if I make even the smallest mistake with the photosynthesis balance. I lack confidence in how I've arranged the plants.  Some of the red plants turned green and some of the green ones went orange.  I havent used any ferts in a month.  I would appreciate any and all input and suggestions on this.  I love this tank so much but it feels sloppy?
