Well I got my 225 up to my 3rd floor apartment after a long day of moving just about everything in the apartment lol

I have also got the framing done for the canopy I  am running 2 dual t-12 ights that say 32 watts each but he bulbs I installed are 40 watt bulbs an 5000K (what ever that means lol)
THe lights light up the whole apartment lol I have my red oak for the canopy drying at the moment it will be on in a few weeks

would this be enough power to grow java moss on drift wood its the only plant I am wanting in the tank
here are some pics also

BigDaddy

So, you have a total of 4 bulbs?

Yeah, should be fine for moss.

Mettle

I grow java moss in betta bowls without any light overhead. Just general light coming into the room through some windows on the other side of the area...

Just my personal experience with the stuff.

Ya ok Thanks alot I wasnt sure what kinda wattage I needed

ill get mroe pics this weekend once I get my gravel etc for the tank lol

I have kept java moss in buckets in my basement with no dedicated lighting for weeks at a time. The moss probably does not grow but it does not die back either. I know people say java moss and anubius are low maintenance but java moss seems to do really well with no special attention.

Well I will just have to give it a try I found a massive piece of drift wood at work today its about 4 feet long an 6 inches wide with a twist to it its beach wood so it a hard wood

im gonna start prepping it tomorow night lol
