Place to buy 24V DC power supply for RO/DI booster ?

So,

I picked up a RO/DI booster pump from Marinescape, at a great price, but unfortunately with no power supply. It requires 24 V DC, and can draw up to 1A of current. I could order this online for less than $20 but don't want to wait.

I don't expect it is something that "the source" (radioshack) stocks regularly. Anyone know of any good electronics stores in the city that would be open after normal working hours (Ie after 5pm.) ? I don't think 24vdc is a standard wall wart style charger voltage, even if I could find it, more likely to see one rated for 500mA, so it may be a sort of specialty item.

Looks like Lowes or Home Depot may have 750 mA 24v dc transformers for cheap.. not sure it will give the pump what it needs though since the spec is for 1A. ..

Any ideas?

... Gervais electronics has 600mA, 1A out of stock  >:(, and some biggier and pricier ones !

Active Components has an 800mA and a 2.5A...

>:( What a pain. Don't wanna dish out the $$ for more current than I need, ordering online will take a little while.

Princess Auto might be worth a shot. Also 12 VDC might be easier to find. Simple enough to wire two 12 VDC transformers in series.

Thanks. That could work. Although by the time I had two in series I might be close to the $60 2.5A one that Gervais has. I will call princess about 24v though.

It is frustrating that the one Home depot has (for sprinkler systems) and that the other electronics stores have is only 800mA. Off by just 200mA. I think it would burn out pretty fast with the pump trying to pull 1000mA.

Gervais Electronics had one for $50.50 (1.5A) . Should be able to get the RO/DI set up real soon now
