Hello Plant people,
It's been a while...thought I should touch base, especially since I'm having trouble with my low tech plant set ups.
first I thought maybe I could find the answer to my problem by reading a couple strings, but I didn't see anything recently on brown algae forming, which is what I've got...again.
It's on the glass and on the plants and on the drift wood too.  my aquatic plant knowledge needs a new chapter.

I'm sure I have to attend a breakfast or lunch meeting soon.

That wonderfull brown stuff is diatom. If your recently setup your tank, well it takes just a lil while even after your tank cycles through but eventually goes away.

I kept it away by cleaning the glass pane, with a sponge scrubber every water change. And eventually it went away, didnt take long.

P.S. Good link to read about algae. But do scroll to the bottom to read more about it. http://www.aquariumalgae.blogspot.com/
