This may be fish related but not directly so I am posting it in the lounge.
I am five hours in and still have six more to go. I can't wait until December 11th for when it will be finished.

Thanx. It's gonna total about $1400 when it's finished. The koi is gonna be yellow and there will blue between each of the black lines. I'm really happy with the work so far. Now I have to design something for the other arm.

Where are you getting it done?  Do they do portraits?  Looks good so far.

New Moon on Jeanne D'arc. I would assume that one of them does portraits. The girl that is doing mine specializes in koi sleeves. I did a lot of shopping around before choosing an artist and she had the nicest work for what I wanted. I have a quite a bit of ink and this is by far my favourite piece.

Going to finish the rest tomorrow. I'm kind of excited!!!

Although not as excited to have to sit through the buzzing for another 5-6 hours.

After five more hours the tat is complete. I am loving the final product. It always hurts alot of afterwards so two bottles of wine were prescribed.

Needless to say I am having some difficulty typing this.....

Thanks folks. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I got it done at New Moon by a woman named Julie. She was great, very friendly and accomodating. The East end shop is very nice. I will be getting the other arm done in a few months. Same concept but something different from the koi. Stil lhaven't made up my mind yet. Might go with a reef scene....

I always wanted a bunny tattoo but you've inspired me. I think I'll go for a tiny $50 fish tattoo.
