Is anyone else having a problem with rapid fluctuations in the temp and PH (or whatever probes you have hooked up) when plugged into your computer?

Not sure if this is relevant but my iTemp reading flucuates A LOT now that i upgraded to 2.0  As a result my heater was going bananas trying to keep the temp at 78.0 degrees. The hysteriosis (sp?) was set to .1 which worked really well prior to my upgrade, but I had to increase it to .2 to keep my heater from switching on and off every 10 seconds.

I wish I could make my iTemp less sensitive as it switches readings of 78.0 and 77.9 every few seconds.

I don't think this is the same issue. I know what you are talking about, it bothered me that the temperature did that too. With the old RK2 (which I have) the upgrade to 2.5 fixed my problem. However, your situation is a bit different. I'm not sure why you are trying to keep your temperatures totally solid (or as close as possible). Most people would set the range (that hysteriosis thing) at .3 to .5 so that this doesn't happen. I don't think there is any negative effect to a .5 temperature swing. With the old version on the RK2 it did not allow for any range. You had to set a temperature. The thing clicked the heater on and off a million times a day.
