How do I dispose of a dead Betta?

Poor little fella. He made it through high ammonia and nitrite levels and a bought of ich before calling it quits overnight. He was super active and "normal" yesterday I was sure he had bounced back.
My month as a fish owner in a nutshell.
Thankfully I had taken him out of the tank when he had ich and he expired in the container - but what do I do with the body?

Garbage. Don't flush them as it could release non-native parasites into our water systems.

If you are concerned with the smell you can put em in a ziploc bag in the freezer until garbage day...
