Chloramine and our water, a concerns for FW and SW

Is anyone interested in doing a goup purchase of sometest kits to see exactly what out water is like here?

I know personally I have seen VERY varried results when I was checking the ph of my tap water, ranging from 7 to 9.4!

How much is one of those test kits?  Would we do like in that article, and go to various locations in the city to test the water?

I will have to look into the costs of one of the test kits but yeah thats exactly what I was thinking. I can bring a digital ph meter to test the ph of that day too.
