Ghetto carbon reactor...

...well, not really a reactor but better than the bag of carbon I threw in the sump.

I was looking for a use for the DI containers I had left over so I stuck bag of carbon in one and attached a maxijet.

To avoid exhausting the carbon too quickly I guess I'll have to either:

  • buy a maxijet 400
  • reduce the amount of carbon I put in
  • get a valve to reduce the flow
  • put it in on a timer

Seems to work well though.

I was walking down the street and a man was hammering on a roof top and he called me a Paranoid Little Weirdo. . . in morse code.

Definately very nice... a smaller MJ maybe? or divert some of the flow with a junction?

Good job Mike.

Might have to scrounge around and see if I can't do something like that myself.

Thank you gentlemen.

The best part is - it only takes 5 minutes to put together.
