A little Help

My cats have burned one of their lives, they went and knocked my CO2 canister over , while at work of course, and when I came home to turn on the lights, my fish tank was cloudy and the fish were gasping for air at the surface, also increased breathing . I quickly changed about 75% of the water and flushed out my filters, the water is still cloudy (not as bad as it was) should I be changing the water again tomorrow?  They did however take the food after things settled a bit. Any advice would be appreciated.
