So I am on the fence about wether to pick up an RKL.  So my question(s)

If you have one how long have you had it?

what do you have hooked up to it? probes? timers? etc?

do you think it was worth the money?

Had one.

I purchased it from Ray on Jan 22nd.
I found myself having to upgrade it on Feb 26th to the RKE, also with Ray (easy to deal with)
I found that I needed the RKE because the RKL has a limit of 4 modules that can be connected to it.
I had purchased the net pkg. so that was my 4 modules. I've since purchased a third PC4 and an ALC.
The RKE has a limit of 60 modules.

Weather its the RKL or the RKE its easy to work with and  easy to set up.

i use the temp controller with my heater and the other 2 outlets for lights, the other one is hooked up to my circulating pumps.

Plan is to add the SL2 module with the salinity probe and the moonlights controller to dim and everything...

I'll +1 this unit too... bought from Ray

currently run my lights (MH +T5) on 2 different timers and 2 different timer cycles (weekdays and weekends)
Also run my heater and Fan to ensure temp stays between 78-80 works extremely well!

I also run their Lunar LEDs which are fantastic edition.

If you don't already have equipment running it's a no brainer... it's a bit more expensive if you're replacing equipment but definitely worth it imo.

I have one of these with the moolights.  use it to control lights, pump and skimmer.

easy set up great system.
