Fragging Torch coral

I just bought a big one(6 heads)and want to frag it to 3 x 2 heads.
I just want to know if there is a specifict distance from the top/bottom of stem to cut it at?
I've noticed that from where the head comes out for about 2" down the "squeleton" looks different.Is
it safe to cut it under that line?
Planning to glue them on flat rocks so they hold better.
