Playing With LED Accents

I picked up a few of those Marineland LED bubblers that BAs had on this week. I figured at $20 each, why not - they have to be good for something. Turns out they're very bright and the bubble tube works well too. Messed around with the red ones in an in-wall tank I'm redoing. I was trying to make the castle look like it was burning. I also put three blue ones in a 56" long custom community tank, but no pics of that one yet. Also posted a crappy video at the link below. Watch the whole 49 seconds to catch my 'dramatic' video effects - probably scared the worms out of the fish. In case you were going to ask, I have air running in all my freshwater tanks - just old-school, I guess.

Thanks, I think the idea shows promise. Here's a couple of pics and a link to another short, crappy video of the blue community tank with no other lighting. May need another strip or two for this one. The two tanks are on opposite sides of the fishroom so you get a neat effect when all the other tank lighting in the room snaps off at night.
