I got stabed by mine about 4 yrs ago. It was a different kind and the spine released black ink into my finger and it turned my whole finger black. It was sooo swollen i couldn't bend it. After about 3 months i finally made a doctors appt and they told me it would take 5 yrs to gain all my movement back. I almost have full movement back after 4 yrs. I hope you do better than me.

wow that is nuts, well I wasnt taking any chances, the doc gave me a dose ant-biotics because I was worried about infection so far no ill results. I am glad to say that I have not had your reaction so I will count myself lucky, I have been stabbed before by the urchin but this is the first time I had to deal with spine removal
