Aqueon heater making a clicking sound

I've noticed an annoying clicking sound coming from my discus tank for the last 24 hours. Narrowed it down to the side with the aqueon heater and after finally being at the tank when it was clicking pulled the plug on it and the clicking stopped. Did a quick search on google and other people have reported the same thing.

Wondering if anyone else has heard of this issue and how fast I need to get the heater out of the tank...as luck would have it my hydor crapped out a week ago and getting it out and back in is problematic since it's inline so I was going to wait until I could get it out and get to big als and back quickly.

I would probably get it out, heaters aren't something you want to mess with in my experience...
