Hi. My toadstool recently started slumping and there is some discolouration at the base (see pic). I also recently had a toonie-sized green bubble algae pop in my 46gal tank, I promptly followed this with a 25% water change...not sure if the two events are related.  Has anyone seen this problem with toadstools before? Should I be concerned? and if so, what should I do to prevent it from dying?

Thanks for any/all advice!

It may have had small shock from the water change, but it looks like it will be fine. The polyps still look nice and extended, and if a leather is under stress usually the first thing it will do is retract and shrink. It should settle in the way it is now and continue growing, but keep an eye on it. If it's been happy til now in that spot I wouldn't worry, and just keep your water quality up and you'll be golden :)
