This coral is just flourishing.

It's got a hundred or so heads. Even when the lights are out it's still quite full. With full lighting, it's swollen like crazy.
Is it unhealthy to have it grow this big in one clump, or should I be fragging it apart and trim it down?

Need advice. I love the piece... just want to make sure it stays happy and healthy.

cheers.

Very nice candy cane coral you have there. If it multiplies fast and stay swollen all the time I would say it's healthy & happy in your tank  ;). You can frag it by breaking the branches and sale/trade to other reefers. I have the same one too but mine is metallic green and it's doing quite well in my tank. This coral is very reefer friendly and will do well in most tanks.
