UV light (submersible or inline)? Any info of suggestions/recommendations?

Hey all!
I'm looking to get a submersible (or maybe inline though that would be less favourable) for my 65g cichlid tank to help kill off this asinine pain in the backside stupid without cause algae tint in my water.
I'd love any info or suggestions or recommendations or warnings or or or..... from anyone whose dealt with them before as this would be my first time using one for my tank.
