Hi everyone!

I am excited to be here! I currently keep tilapia, goldfish and shrimp, for use in aquaponics. I have a 460gal pond/stock tank in my backyard that powers an indoor lettuce growing setup. It's heated and insulated - so far so good! I just started keeping fish in late summer. I hope to get some land in the Ottawa area soon to build a large aquaponics system, but am currently just experimenting at my parents house because I've temporarily lost my career due to covid.

I'm very interested in aquatic plants as well, and would like to set up a very nice planted tank for some ornamental fish. I grow some spirulina but I am researching algae used for biodiesel, so if anyone knows anything about that stuff, lemme know!
