Gunite Koi Pond?

Hi Members,
I am looking for recommendation to build a concret or gunite koi pond. Is this job can be done by DIY? If not, any good contractors can be found in Ottawa area?

the best thing I would do is contact the manufacturer of Gunite and ask how long it can hold water pressure for,  and 2, will it leach anything into the water.
you will probably get someone who doesn't really know anything about aquariums so just tell them you want to build a small pool

I know that regular concrete is safe,  the storage vats in Florida and Malawi are made of solid 6" or 8" concrete (they are about 5'x'5'x3' deep
