As the COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing, the City of Ottawa has announced that they are\u00a0extending the closure<\/a>\u00a0of all their city facilities to June 30th now.\u00a0 The last meeting we have scheduled is May 26th so this unfortunately will cancel the remainder of the 2019\/2020 OVAS season and it doesn’t look like the Giant Auction will happen either.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

OVAS is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the aquarium hobby in Ottawa and its surrounding areas. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in home aquariums and provides many benefits such as discounts at local retailers, easy access to the aquarium community, attend events, and more! The club meets at least once a month at Tom Brown arena from September through to May and maintains the\u00a0ovas.ca<\/a>\u00a0website and online forum.<\/p>\n
