We have a haunting presentation brewing for Monday night that will heighten your senses to creepy and crawly things!<\/p>\n

\n(Exo)skeletons are Spooky, Right?: Fun with Vampire Crabs [Alyssa Gonzalez]\n

Hot on the heels of last month’s talks about adding houseplants and aquaponics to the aquarium experience, Alyssa Gonzalez will be giving us a tour of the life history, husbandry, and general delights of vampire crabs, a recent addition to the pet trade that is getting a lot of attention lately. Alyssa promises to bring her characteristic thoroughness and humour. Hallowe’en costumes are optional!<\/p>\n

\nWe have secured some great speakers for the remainder of the season. Please stay tuned to our socials for these announcements.<\/p>\n

There will be some tricks or treats (prizes)!
\nMembers are encouraged to set up vendor tables<\/strong>, so bring some cash if looking to shop.
\nOVAS may<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>have\u00a0fish bags available<\/strong>\u00a0for purchase: 25 for $4\/\u00a050 for $8 (priced at cost).<\/p>\n
