A fish-friendly reminder from the Ottawa Valley Aquarium Society…<\/strong><\/p>\n

We hope you are as excited as we are to start the 2025-2026 OVAS season! Catch our season opener, the OVAS Garage Sale, on Saturday, September 13th! Please join us for the fish swap! Everyone is welcome!<\/p>\n

Expect to find new and gently used aquariums & hardware, along with locally raised aquatic livestock & plants!!<\/p>\n

Sellers:<\/strong> There is no table fee for members.\u00a0 The non-member table fee is $10.\u00a0 Please ensure your sale items are in good working order and that you are providing healthy livestock.\u00a0 Please reserve a table on the forum HERE<\/a>.\u00a0 Setup is from 9:00am-9:30am and venue clean up is from 2:30pm-3:00pm.\u00a0 You are responsible for all pricing and transactions, please remember to bring CHANGE!\u00a0 Please note that you are responsible for the set up, and clean up of your table.\u00a0 Sellers are to dispose of items they don\u2019t want to take home.<\/p>\n

Buyers:<\/strong> Please remember to bring CASH! Don’t forget a bag and cooler!<\/p>\n

This is a FREE event sponsored by the Ottawa Valley Aquarium Society. Anyone with an interest in aquariums and related hobbies is welcome to attend. OVAS presentations are a great place to meet other aquarium hobbyists, exchange ideas and learn more about fish and aquatic plant keeping.<\/p>\n
