Hey Quick question,

If I want a purplish blue light, what should I buy... All i know is that my light is 24" and is nothing special... Any idea how I can get the best bang for my buck?

if you go to all's or SP you can pick between your K rateings to get the color that you want the higher the K rateing the more blue the bulb.. try a 18k bulb...  youmight like the color of that... and if your realy looking for that bluish/ purple color you can get attinic's they are used in Marine tanks.. but I have had them over my cichlid tank's for color
