Recovering from Ich treatment with salt & copper sulphate based meds. Of course my plants took a beating. A lot are coming back slowly after a lot of pruning even some transplanting. My tank looks sad... :( x 1,000,000! My Amazon Sword took a real hit... :( lost a lot of leaves big holes & shedded! New shouts started but came out yellow when they started to open... Anyone know the cause. I did have carbon in my filter removed it 2 days ago replaced with SeaChem Renew. Have been adding low doses of: NPK, Fe, & trace. Using full lighting +3w/gal & CO2. This combo was working well before treatment.

Dan usually if it`s yellow in new growth it is a sign of iron deficiency, also check your calcium it could cause pale young leaves.

Loose the Renew as well.  Nitrate and phosphate are your friends, you don't want them being pulled out of the water column by Renew (which Seachem says it does).

Exactly... your plants and regular water changes are your chemical filter.

Dan , it might also benefit the amazon to put a root tab under it.
