Cheap internal overflow boxes???

I recently purchased a drilled 80 gallon, with a single hole in the back left corner for a 1.5" bulkhead. I think I can work out the bulkhead, and a diy durso standpipe type design, but would like the added surface skimming and safety of an internal overflow box. I am talking about the black acrylic (usually) 2 sided corner boxes, with the teeth along the top. I figure this would be easy to fabricate, but don't really want to purchase the heat strip, acrylic... etc etc.

Anyone know of a cheap place to buy these online, or a local who fabricates them? I have found them online for about $120 USD, which seems a little excessive to me.

A lot of people have used:

Canus Plastics Inc.
300 Lisgar Street
Ottawa
110g saltwater/reef

I was walking down the street and a man was hammering on a roof top and he called me a Paranoid Little Weirdo. . . in morse code.

Thanks FocusFin, I will contact this company. Do you know if they will actually fabricate the box, given dimensions, or are they just a supplier? Thanks

I've not dealt with them but my understanding is that they will manufacture to your specs.

The more work they do (cutting the teeth etc..) the more they'll charge.

Good luck.

Why not go with a glass overflow and silicon it in place?  Ottawa Inverts could help you out I'm sure. If you want the black look they could use black glass. They also had at one point a removable overflow comb that looked very sweat. Was removable for cleaning.

hmm that's odd. I actually was at Marinescape the other day, and asked them, they suggested Canus Plastics on Lisgar.
