here's a few pictures of my planted tank .... no co2.
just added a colony of red cherry shrimps and a breeding colony of hillstreams...






any aquascaping suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

Looking good, that will grow in nicely!

Be careful with the hillstream loaches and CO2 - they prefer O2 rich water and do not respond well to elevated CO2 levels. You might need a separate tank for them as soon as you get your CO2 working.

Looking good, perhaps you can try a black background & compare to your likeness, a black garbage bag should do the trick for the test.
