Hey all.
I need some suggestions on an easy and cheap fertilizer to add to my 75 gal.
I'm new to all this and recently acquired some new plants, (cabomba and val.)
I'd much rather have substrate, than liquid (which is what I am currently using.)
I know I have a good amount of fish to keep the nitrates at a good level for the plants.
Also I already have about an inch and a half of regular gravel, which I would like to keep if possible.
Any helpful info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for all the patience and understanding you all show to us "newbs"!!  8)

If you only have one or two bunch of these plants, not the whole tank full of it, no need to fertilize the tank. Good tank keeping, regular water change, is enough for this type of plant to grow healthy :)

oh no..I have a lot of val (10ish) and 3 of the cabomba. Should I just leave it for now and see how it goes?

Yes. They are not considered high demand plants
