Does anyone know if there is any advantage to this? I need to upgrade my filter, and one has this feature. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this?

Thanks!  :)

Never used them, but would guess one of the benefits would be one less equipment in your display.

Yeah I was thinking that too...possibly better heat disbursement?

If your filter goes down does your heater too? That is an issue with interrogated components. There are in line heaters you can attach to the output of your canister filter.

Gret idea for the display, but like Dan said, will it still work once the filter is out of order?
