Dead Ballast

I have a Tek 8 bulb 48" light.

On Friday half my bulbs stopped working.  When you turn them on, they light for about a second then turn off.  After a couple seconds they come on again for a millisecond or two and then off.  I tried removing 2 of the bulbs but that did not help.

My gut tells me it is a bum ballast.

Thoughts?

I guess one way to confirm would be to swap the 4 working bulbs with the 4 non-working bulbs and see what happens.

Most likely a ballast from the sounds of it.  I think a Workhorse 7 would do the trick in replacing it.
